The Main Level

On the main level our Guests will find a beautiful combination of rustic barn-styled design combined with luxurious modern amenities. 

17 ft wood ceilings run from front to back in the cabin and lead up to the  25 ft tall cupola which lights up at night.

The main level leads immediately to the rear deck with table and outdoor seating. 

The main level consists of the main living areas including the main living room area,  kitchen and dining. 

Two identical master suites adorn the main level each with king-sized beds, private luxury baths, 55 inch big screens, blue ray players, streaming services and walk-in closets.

The Lower Level

The lower level walk-out level adds two additional guest suites including a queen suite and our Bunk Room (4 twin Bunks) that are perfect for kids and adults a like.  

A shared bath area is available conveniently placed between the two bedrooms.

The lower level walk-out holds our 36 x 18 game and entertainment space. Enjoy pool, wall games, arcade games and more with immediate access to the heated hot tub and firepit areas of the property.

All guests staying in the lower level have access to large bedrooms with large egress windows and can walk directly out to the hot tub and firepit areas.

The Land

Scout's Retreat is located on 12.67 fully wooded acres (we say 12.5 normally) of the former Hocking County boy scout camp closed in 1999. The name "Scout's Retreat" is named in honor of the lands prior use. Guests will enjoy complete privacy on the 12.5 scenic and wooded acres during their stay.
